Notarial matters
Notarial services are often required where documents need to be relied upon by authorities, businesses or individuals abroad.

Before your appointment, we will confirm what is required, what documents you need to provide, and whether any further steps may be needed after notarisation.
Legalisation matters
In some cases, notarisation alone is not enough. A document may also need to be legalised before it can be used abroad.
Legalisation may involve obtaining an apostille from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and in some cases further embassy or consular legalisation. The exact requirements will usually depend on the country where the document is being used and the type of document involved.
